HEALTH, SAFETY, AND ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY



ACL is committed to the aim of creating and maintaining a safe and healthy working environment throughout its operations. It is also ACL’s policy to achieve a standard of environmental care consistent with its role as a responsible business operation. In pursuance of these goals the Company will :


Health and Safety

  • Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards; and where adequate laws do not exist, apply standards that reflect the Company's commitment to health and safety.

  • Ensure that its employees and contractors are informed of and understand their obligations in respect of this policy.

  • Involve employees and contractors iemn the improvent of occupational health and safety performance.


  • Train and hold individual employees accountable for their area of responsibility.

  • Manage risk by implementing management systems to identify, assess, monitor and control hazards and by reviewing performance.


Environmental

  • Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards; and where adequate laws do not exist, apply standards that minimise any adverse environmental impacts resulting from its operations.

  • Ensure that its employees and contractors are informed and aware of their environmental responsibilities in relation to ACL business.

  • Ensure that it has management systems to identify, control and monitor environmental risks arising from its operations.
