Currently the hospital is operating with 150 beds, which have been accommodated in an existing renovated building. The Indus Hospital Expansion Project (The Project) aims to optimize the usage of its 20-acre land out of which only 5% is currently underutilization. With this expansion, TIH will 1500+ bedded facilities. The expansion project is divided into 3 phases from the construction point of view. Presently Phase 1 is under development. The completed project will be a state-of-the-art multifaceted, tertiary care teaching hospital, a benchmark in Pakistan’s healthcare sector, in terms of its infrastructure, capacity and service delivery systems.

The first phase commenced in 2014 and is expected to be completed in 2026. It will transform the current 300 bed facility to a 1199 bed facility.
